Recap of year 2015 from Advisory board member
The year 2015 was a pivotal year for Ondo Unity Forum in the Americas . A federation of autonomous Ondo clubs, OUFA has since its establishment endured and proved its usefulness as a vehicle for unity and development of Ondo City.
The activities of OUFA supplement the individual activities of its affiliates. The affiliates are engaged in several development projects such as award of scholarships, improvement of learning environment through repairs of schools, and assistance to health infrastructure in Ondo General Hospital.
In the year 2015, OUFA, in collaboration with its affiliates, arranged a grand reception for His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Victor Ademefun Kiladejo, the Osemawe and Paramount Ruler of Ondo Kingdom in Dallas, Texas. This was the second reception for our King in continental America, the first was held in Maryland in the year .......
The Dallas reception was attended by more than two .hundred people who came to welcome the Osemawe as he began his historic mission to promote the proclamation of Ondo City Vision.
OUFA gave its unequivocal support to the Ondo City Vision aimed at revitalizing and refurbishing the ancient city for the 21st Century. OUFA activities in support of Ondo City include donation of ten thousand dollars. In addition, individuals through their clubs contributed to the Ondo City Vision fund. OUFA representatives were present during the Ondo City Vision Proclamation in December 2015. OUFA presence was acknowledged by the King through provision of seats and name plate of OUFA as well as food for the representatives.Other activities undertaken by OUFA include sponsorship of Christ Orphanage Home in Ondo.
Representing as it does as a forum for dialogue and planning sustainable development of our community, we invite other clubs in America not affiliated to OUFA to join this body for the enhancement of our community and our people.
OUFA looks to a fruitful 2016 and wishes all its affiliates and all Ondos a happy new year.

1) PROPOSED OUFA PROGRAM ON MENTORING ONDO SCHOOLS FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
In mentoring a school, each individual(club) could select a class for focus. It could be primary five or six or even primary one and bond with the class over a period of years. The most important issue is to give students and staff in the school that successful Ondos particularly those in America are concerned and are committed to the success of Ondo students. I appeal to
Club of the willing 2 1/2/2012
all OUFA affiliates to make the mentorship project our major outreach
program for 2011 and beyond. I shall call NEC members and Advisory
Board members to plead for quick adoption of this program which could
have great ripple effects in our community.
